GardenTalk08- One magic – many effects!

We were discussing the magical solution developed by an Indian scientist namely Dr. Krishan Chandra. We also saw how easy it is to prepare it, not to mention about almost zero cost of the solution.

In many of his YouTube videos Dr. Chandra never gets tired listing the myriad ways of using his magical solution. For him, it appears as if it is a most sacred religious artefact😉

He talks about its use as a direct feed to the plants, as an insecticide, as a sanitizer, for seed treatment, for making organic fertilizer, as an in-situ crop waste recycler… and so on.

I will briefly discuss some of these in subsequent episodes.

The simplest of all, is to feed the solution directly to the plants. Since this solution has nitrogen, phosphorus and potash fixing bacteria, in due course, they provide the NPK nutrients that the plants need, as I explained in the previous episodes.

Dr. Chandra also says that this solution balances the Ph condition of the soil around the plant to make it optimum. Further, the enzymes that are secreted by these bacteria apparently stimulate earthworm production and very soon there will be a swarming of earthworms around the plants. Dr. Chandra dramatizes it by saying that there would be a red carpet of earthworms!

These earthworms not only produce excellent manure in terms of their droppings but also render the soil more porous, ensuring good aeration. Dr. Chandra claims that even rocky soil would change to lose soil with good water retention due to organic matter produced by the earth worms.

Dr. Chandra claims that many of the root borne diseases also would subside by the application of this solution. Further, many of the naturally occurring pathogens in the soil get killed by the enzymes produced by the bacteria in the solution, Dr. Chandra adds.

Dr. Chandra cautions about certain mistakes one may make while using the solution directly. Since the solution has several organic acids produced by the bacteria, one should take care while providing them to small plants. It is better to dilute the solution in such cases. 1:3 may be a good dilution ratio, he recommends.

Further, if the concentrated solution falls on the leaves, the leaves may get burnt, again because of these acids. So, while feeding leafy plants, avoid drenching the leaves in concentrated solution. Not to worry, Dr. Chandra says, the new leaves that replace the burnt leaves would be healthy and greener.

Dr. Chandra claims many immediately visible effects once you start using his solution directly to the plants as a feed. He says that

1. You see the plant leaves growing bigger, greener and shiny.
2. You see lesser diseases affecting these leaves.
3. The plants would bear bigger and well-shaped fruits, that taste better.

In terms of yields, Dr. Chandra claims that you will find the same yield as that you would have got by using other fertilizers, without any one of them being used. So, it is almost no cost solution. Even if you need to use, you need only a fraction of the fertilizer you would have otherwise used.

So, it is really a magic solution!

My friend has just started using the solution in his garden and it is too early to see much result. At the moment all that one can say is that there are no negative effects of using the solution. We need to wait and watch. Hopefully, I will update you when I get some concrete results.

Feeding this solution directly to a large garden like the one my friend has, may pose some problems. It is quite laborious to pour the solution to each plant. My friend has adopted a simple and easy method which is very cost effective too.

We will discuss that in the next episode.
