If you are not familiar with "Universal link", here is what it is
It is a single link for each book no matter which store it is sold, no matter which country it is sold. Just click the link and you will be shown a list of stores (in your country) in which that book is sold. You can click the icon of your favorite store. You will be asked whether that is your favorite store. If you set it as your favorite store, then next time it will always take you to your favorite store in your country without asking further questions. You don't need different links for different stores, different countries. One link per book irrespective of where it is sold.
To make things more simple, I have given easy to remember names to each of these links. So, all that you need to remember is just the label associated with book. Prepend it by "https://books2read.com/".
For example, if you need to buy/preview my latest book "Meditation - Important things you need to know". Just visit "https://books2read.com/Meditation". You will be shown the following options.
The icons are for the stores where this book is currently sold. Click any of the icons, depending on the store of your preference (you need to do this only the first time). Let us say, you chose the first icon, i.e. amazon. You will be asked whether that is your preferred store.
If amazon is the store you always buy books, then just click "continue". Next time, when you click any universal link, you will automatically go to amazon. If that is not what you want, then just uncheck the box in the prompt before hitting "continue". This will enable you to choose your store every time.
When you hit "continue", you will be taken to the product page of this book on amazon site in your country. If you are in India, for example, you will be directed to the following product page in amazon.in
Nice thing about this is you just need to remember the acronym ("Meditation" for this book) and book2read takes care of directing you to the appropriate store. Also, as and when some book is available in some new store, you will be updated.
There is another nice thing about this. In case a particular book is not available in your preferred store, then you can let me know that by setting the "Your preferred store" (bottom of the page where you are asked to choose the store). I will try to make that book available in that store, so that next time you can buy it from that store!
