Meditation – Important things you need to know

From today, I am going to start a new series of posts, once in two weeks. It is about some interesting bits connected with my books.

At the moment I have 17 books, all of them in e-books format, some in print format and a few in audio book format as well.

The book I am going to discuss today is Meditation – Important things you need to know.

What is it about?

This is a small book available in e-book, print book as well as audio book formats. This book also contains another short book Neurological basis of Yoga as appendix.

This book was serialized earlier on this blog and was quite popular. So, I published it as a book with additional information.

As you can see in the cover page on the left, the cover succinctly tells what this book is all about. You can see the image of a meditating Buddha sitting at the center of a lotus like figure. This lotus like figure is the cross section of our brain as seen from the front – the so called coronal section. So it is all about meditation and its connection to the brain.

I don’t want to be too technical in this short book So I have pushed technical lingo to the other part, namely Neurological basis of Yoga which is also published as a separate book.

In this book, I discuss several questions about Meditation – prerequisites, various forms of meditation, how meditation works, its connection with the brain, and so on in a very informal way so that everyone can understand it.

Where can I find it?

You can find e-book version of this book in http://books2read.com/Meditation. Just click this link and choose your favorite store to buy the book from. It is available in almost every store.

Print version of this book is available in many stores including amazon, Barnes and Noble.

Audio book version is available in almost all stores that sell audio books including amazon, audible and iTunes. You can find it in most libraries on a pay per use basis. Check out in your nearest library.

Some of the store links are given below

I hope you enjoy reading this book. Bye then, till we meet again, week after next, with another of my books.
