“You shall
not take pains worrying about
What you will eat, orWhat you will drink,or
Behold the birds of the sky. They neither sow nor reap,
neither do they gather into barns.
Your Father who is in Heaven sustains them.
Are you not better than they?
And why are you worrying about clothing? Consider the lilies
of the field. They grow without laboring or weaving.
Your Father who is in Heaven knows that all these things are
necessary for you.
Seek the Kingdom of
God and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you.
