While strolling in my friend’s farm, I have often noticed
that the red ants that flock the dry leaves, and inflict a rather painful
sting, stop stinging once they get used to you.
At times I have even encountered cobras silently crawling away with their hoods lowered, inches from my feet! No animal attacks unless it is threatened or is hungry. I often joke that the only animal that attacks without any provocation is the human being 😆
And when I read the news on massacres and bloodshed that go on all over the world these days, in the name of religion and faith, I feel like crying on my own joke. Have we really evolved?
