Dem großen Weisen Vyasa, dem Verfasser des großen Epos Mahabharata, erweise ich meine Verehrung. Ihm, der die Wissenslampe namens Bhagavadgita entzündet hat, bringe ich meinen ehrerbietigen Gruß dar.

Die Upanishaden sind die Kühe; Krishna ist derjenige, der sie melkt. Arjuna ist das Kalb, durch das die Milch fließt. Diese Milch ist die Bhagavadgita. Gesegnet sind jene, die diesen göttlichen Nektar trinken.

Rindo mi reverencia al gran sabio Vyasa, autor del majestuoso poema épico Mahabharata. Ofrezco mis salutaciones a él, quien encendió la lámpara del conocimiento llamada Bhagavad Gita.

Los Upanishads son como vacas; quien extrae su leche es Krishna.
Arjuna es el ternero que hace posible que la leche fluya. Esa misma leche es la Bhagavad Gita. Bienaventurados son quienes beben ese divino néctar.

I salute Sage Vyasa the author of the great Epic Mahabharata for lighting the illuminating lamp that is Bhagavad Gita.

The Upanishads are the cows which are milked by Krishna. Arjuna is the calf that motivated the release of milk which is nothing-but the Bhagavad Gita. And lucky are the ones, who get to drink this divine immortalizing milk.

ಉಪನಿಷತ್ತುಗಳು ಹಸುಗಳು; ಅವುಗಳ ಹಾಲನ್ನು ಕರೆಯುವವನು ಕೃಷ್ಣ. ಅರ್ಜುನನು, ಹಾಲು ಇಳಿಯಲು ಕಾರಣವಾದ ಕರು. ಆ ಹಾಲೇ ಭಗವದ್ಗೀತೆ. ಆ ದಿವ್ಯ ಅಮೃತವನ್ನು ಕುಡಿಯುವವರು ಧನ್ಯರು.

And Vedas are probably, the oldest available scriptures of the world.
